Privacy Policy

YOU LOOP (“we”, “us”) makes crochet fashion in Thailand and runs youloop.co. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. We handle your data in line with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA).

What we collect
- When you order a piece: your name, email, shipping address, the messaging app and handle you choose for updates, and the piece, colour and size you ordered.
- When you pay: payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe tells us whether the payment succeeded and the amount paid.
- When you send a Create Your Look request: your contact details, your measurements if you give them, your occasion and date, any reference photos you upload and any notes you write.
- When you send a YOU LOOP Creation (business) inquiry: your name, company, email and project details.
- When you browse: pages you visit, how far you get through our forms, and shopping actions such as viewing a product, starting checkout and completing a purchase, together with technical details like your browser, device and IP address. See Cookies and advertising.
How we use it
- To make, ship and deliver your order, and to send order and shipping updates.
- To reply to custom requests and inquiries and prepare proposals.
- To keep records required by Thai tax and accounting law.
- To measure how our ads perform and show our ads to people likely to be interested.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
Our legal bases under the PDPA are performing our contract with you (orders and requests), legal obligations (accounting records), and our legitimate interest in running and promoting the business (site analytics and advertising).
Cookies and advertising
We use Google Tag Manager to load the Meta Pixel on this site. The Pixel uses cookies and similar technologies to tell Meta (Facebook and Instagram) which pages you visit and which shopping actions you take here, for example viewing a product or completing a purchase, including the order value. Meta may link this to your Facebook or Instagram account and uses it to measure our ads and to show ads, including ours, to you and to people like you. Meta’s use of this data is covered by Meta’s Privacy Policy.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: which pages they visit, how they found us, and how far they get through our order and request forms. It uses cookies to tell visits apart and does not receive what you type into our forms. Google’s use of this data is covered by Google’s Privacy Policy, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
You can limit this tracking at any time:
- In your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, by turning off ads based on activity from partners.
- In your browser, by blocking or deleting third-party cookies or using a content blocker.
- Through the industry opt-out at youradchoices.com.
The site works fully with these turned off.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with services that help us run the business:
- Stripe, to process payments.
- Netlify, which hosts this website and stores form submissions and uploaded photos.
- Resend, which sends our order and request emails.
- Google (Tag Manager and Analytics) and Meta, as described above.
- Couriers, who receive your name, address and contact details to deliver your order.
Some of these providers store data outside Thailand, including in the United States. We use providers that protect personal data with safeguards recognised under the PDPA. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for as long as Thai tax and accounting law requires. Custom requests and inquiries that do not become an order, including uploaded photos, are deleted when we no longer need them to reply to you. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data, or stop or limit how we use it;
- move your data to another service;
- stop using your data for advertising, or withdraw consent you gave earlier.
Email hello.youloop@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
Children
Our site is not aimed at children. If you are under 20, please ask a parent or guardian before ordering or sending us your details.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
